Manju and Manjula, colleagues in a meet at the inception for preparation for Indian Society of Ananesthetists Orissa State Branch Meet at Rourkela.Manju (Dr. Mrs. S M Dash) was earlier decided to be the Treasurer for the Conference and Manjula (Dr. Mrs Manjula Khosla) was given the charge of the Souvenir for the Conference in this meeting at Bramhani Club hosted by good-friend and fellow colleague Dr. Santosh K Agrawal.

Indian Society of Anaesthesiologists- 36th State Conference, Orissa, Rourkela.

We are a small group of Ananesthesiologists in Rourkela City, around 12 people and almost a dcade back tried to form a City Branch of Anaesthesiologists when the COPRA came in very heavily. Somehow, for different reasons it has still not taken a shape but we have managed to meet almost 4-6 times every year to have some clinical discussion, scentific presentation and dinner. This small group when met in December 2005 decided to hold the 2006 State Conference in Rourkela. Accordingly a formal request through e-mail was sent to the Secretary, Orissa State Branch of ISA and it was later reiterated at the venue of the National Conference in Kolkata by different memebers from Rourkela to State Executive memebrs which met formally on 17th February at Cuttack and conveyed to us over phone with a go-ahead signal. Accordingly our memebrs met on 26th MArch at Bramhani Club and took some decisions. Memebers of the State Executive came here on 8th April and formally handed over a consent letter and suggested a few more things. This blog is likely to sketch a few things of prepation and execution of the 36th ISA Orissa State Conference at Rourkela graphically.
